Acceptance of Terms

By using Video Transcriber, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Video Transcriber lets you upload your own MP3, MP4, MPEG, MPGA, M4A, WAV, or WEBM files, see the duration, receive a timestamped transcript, and export TXT or SRT. It does not download links, record audio, identify speakers, translate, summarize, or chat about the file.

One credit equals one billed minute, rounded up. Credits are charged when a job starts. If the provider job fails, those credits are returned. An overestimate is not refunded.

New accounts receive 20 credits unless that grant is turned off in settings.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law;
• upload content you do not have the right to transcribe;
• upload malware or attempt to disrupt the service;
• probe, scan, or bypass access controls.

Payments

Paid plans and minute packs are billed by the payment provider you choose at checkout. Prices shown on the pricing page are the prices charged. Cancel a subscription before renewal if you do not want another charge.

Your files

You keep the rights to files you upload and to the transcripts we produce for you. You grant us a limited license to store and process those files only to provide the service.

Availability

The service may change or be interrupted. Transcripts can be imperfect. Do not rely on them as a legal record without checking the audio.
