Frequently Asked Questions

How do credits work?
One credit is one billed minute, rounded up. Subscription plans add a monthly pool. One-time packs add minutes that do not expire.
How many minutes are included?
The Free column is your signup gift. Paid columns show the minutes included in that plan. Yearly plans include 12 times the monthly minutes.
When are credits charged?
Credits are charged once when a transcription starts, after the file duration is known. If the job fails, those credits are returned. An overestimate is not refunded.
Do unused credits roll over to the next billing cycle?
Yes. Unused credits stay in your account until consumed (first-in, first-out). One-time pack credits do not expire. If a promotional grant includes an expiry, it will be stated when the credits are added.
What payment methods do you accept?
Checkout uses the payment providers enabled for this site. Card details are handled by those providers. Video Transcriber does not store full card numbers.
Is my subscription automatically renewed? Can I cancel or change plans?
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless you cancel. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; you keep access until the end of the paid period. To change plans, purchase the new plan or contact support if you need help mid-cycle.
What if I need more credits?
Open the One-Time tab above to buy a credit pack at any time. Pack credits stack with your subscription balance, never expire, and are available for transcription minutes.
What is your refund policy?
You may request a refund for your first subscription purchase within 3 days if you have used 50 credits or fewer. Add-on and one-time credit packs are not refundable. Subscription renewals are non-refundable—cancel before the renewal date to avoid future charges. See our Refund Policy for full details.
